Kansas has offered up the video for their newest single “Rhythm in the Spirit.” The track hails off the band’s comeback album The Prelude Implicit, their first new release in 16 years, which dropped in September. “It’s been a long time since we’ve made a one-song concert video, and we had a great time doing it,” the band said in a statement. “‘Rhythm in the Spirit’ was our unanimous first choice and we are very happy with how it turned out.” Speaking of the new album last year Phil Ehart said: “It had to sound like Kansas, but be new Kansas and that was a major order,” he explained. “When we started this album, we were kind of like, ‘That’s going to be a tall order to fill.’ But we worked very hard and we think we’ve achieved that. The biggest compliment you could give us is that this sounds like Kansas. That’s what we were aiming for.
