Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have revealed plans for a new duet album. The new project will reportedly be dubbed Buckingham McVie and speaking with the Los Angeles Times the pair revealed that they could have music ready for release as early as this spring. “You know, a better thing’s never happened to me,” McVie told the Times. “We’ve always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiraled into something really amazing that we’ve done between us.” The project has been in the works since 2014 and McVie previously told the Huffington Post: “Because of Stevie’s absence, there’s been a very strong link musically between Lindsey and I, where we’ve actually been able to concentrate and co-write,” she said adding that the sessions have produced “some fantastic, quite profound, quite surprising emotions. .
