Elton John was reportedly paid almost four million dollars for a recent performance at the wedding of a Russian oligarch’s granddaughter. The event took place over the weekend and saw both Elton and Mariah Carey give performances at the union of Irene Kogan and Daniel Kenvey. The event was held at London’s Landmark Hotel and was bank rolled by Irene’s grandad, Russian businessman Valery Kogan. Elton and Mariah were just a few of the celebrities present at the event, which was also DJ’d by Mark Ronson and saw a speech come from Antonio Banderas. One of the highlights of the night according to sources was when Elton offered up a rendition of “Tiny Dancer,” saying: “This is for Irene.
