Tom Petty has added new dates to his previously confirmed summer tour. The new dates include seconds nights in both Boston and Philadelphia-on July 21 and 29, respectively. He will now also hit Vancouver, BC on August 17 and Seattle on August 19. He recently opened up about the extended run and says that he is starting to slow down a little bit with his advancing years: “I’m thinking it may be the last trip around the country,” he recently hinted. “It’s very likely we’ll keep playing, but will we take on 50 shows in one tour? I don’t think so. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was thinking this might be the last big one. We’re all on the backside of our 60s. I have a granddaughter now I’d like to see as much as I can.
