Bruce Springsteen’s recent run of dates in Australia and New Zealand has hit the top of Billboard’s Hot Tours List, raking in $50 million in ticket sales. The rock legend played just 12 shows down under in January and February, selling over 260,000 tickets. Stops on the tour included Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, the Hunter Valley and Christchurch and Auckland. He also gave an appearance before 20,000 fans at the Hanging Rock Festival. The single most lucrative stop on the tour was in Melbourne, where he sold 51,000 tickets. The ever politically active Springsteen also made headlines throughout the tour for blasting current U.S. President Donald Trump. At Hanging Rock he made international headlines for telling fans: “We stand before you embarrassed Americans.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
