The Who are releasing their triumphant return performance at the Isle of Wight Festival 2004 on DVD and Blu-Ray later this year. Live at the Isle of Wight 2004 features 21 songs and finds the band at their best, performing all of their hits including “My Generation,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Pinball Wizard” and “Magic Bus.” A two-disc CD version of the concert performance will accompany the DVD and Blu-Ray releases as well. In 1970, the Who’s stunning performance at the Isle of Wight became an instant classic and the stuff of legends in terms of what a live performance should be. That performance was eventually released on CD/DVD. The festival itself was inactive for many years until it was resurrected in 2002. Live at the Isle of Wight 2004 will be released in June 2.
