A release date has been confirmed for the long awaited Freddie Mercury biopic. The film, which has been in the works for years, is now set for release next year. News of the release came via Queen guitarist Brian May, who opened up about the progress in a recent interview with the Daily Star. “The Freddie film is coming . sooner than you might think, next year,” he said in the interview. He also added that Queen may consider more dates with Adam Lambert next year adding: “We will be in America most of the summer and then probably be back around these parts at the end of the year.” Lambert had previously echoed those rumors: “There is potentially more work with Queen.
