David Bowie’s iconic Labyrinth soundtrack will be reissued on vinyl. The soundtrack features seven instrumental pieces by film composer Trevor Jones and five original songs by Bowie, notably “As the World Falls Down,” “Underground,” and “Magic Dance.” The soundtrack, which was originally offered on vinyl in 1986, was remastered at Capitol Studios and includes a replication of its original artwork. The new Labyrinth reissue is due May 12 via UMe. It has now been reported that Fede Alvarez will direct and Jay Basu will write a spin-off to the cult movie after the pair finish work on upcoming Dragon Tattoo sequel The Girl In The Spider’s Web.
