Gregg Allman has rejected rumors that he has entered hospice care. Word that he had entered a hospice facility spread earlier this week but he was quick to correct the report and affirm that he is home and expects to make a full recovery. “[I am] currently home in Savannah resting” he explained and said it’s on doctor’s orders. “I want to thank you for all the love that you are sending,” he continued. “Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Keep Rockin’.” The Allmans did, however, have to cancel a selection of tour dates in the last year due to Gregg’s health: “This is the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long, long, time,” Allman said in a statement after canceling a winter tour. “I’ve been on the road for 45 years because I live to play music with my friends for my fans.
