A selection of never-before-seen Beatles photos will be released in a New York gallery show later this year. The photos, snapped by David Magnus, were captured in 1967 while the band was recording their single for the TV show Our World. The show will open at the Morrison Hotel gallery in SoHo on June 17: “This show represents the first coming together of music and technology through satellite broadcasting whose purpose was to reach a worldwide audience,” Peter Blachley, Morrison Hotel Gallery co-owner and founder, told Fox News. “We think nothing of it today, however 50 years ago it was a very big deal. A big deal made even bigger by the fact that the best band on the planet, The Beatles, chose to send a message of love, hope and healing, which we hope will be even more evident in this show today.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com.
