Todd Rundgren debuted the video for his new single “Tin Foil Hat” on Fox News earlier this week. The track features a video that mocks President Donald Trump and much of his administration and has drawn the ire of conservative media. In his recent interview with Fox, Rundgren admits that the video was “pretty much only intended for [his live] audience,” before Fox aired the video. Rundgren has been transparent about the political bent of his shows, stating earlier this month: “If you’re a Trump supporter, don’t come to my show, because you won’t have a good time… Let the buyer beware!” Despite Rundgren’s own fair warning, Fox invited him to the show and even played the video. Before playing it, host Jesse Waters asks: “OK, so you have a very provocative intermission video while you do your little costume change.
