Iggy Pop will serve as one of the headlining acts for the 2017 Sound on Sound Festival, alongside the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Shins. The festival will take place this fall. Grizzly Bear, Blood Orange, Electric Wizard, Pusha T, Kehlani, Vince Staples, Sleep and Ministry will also perform, alongside a reunion of the alternative hip-hop trio Digable Planets, a dedicated DJ stage and performances by various Texas-bred talent are among the three-day event. The SOS Fest will benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). Nearly $15,000 was donated last year to the nonprofit organization, which provides affordable healthcare for low-income, uninsured working musicians in the greater Austin area.
