Tony Iommi has revealed that his collaborative album project with Brian May could still be in the works. Speaking with eonmusic.com, he noted that the pair recently connected and they discussed possibilities for an album. He adds, however, that there are still some challenges ahead. “Brian came up to my house a couple of weeks ago, and we started talking about it again – but it’s quite possible,” Iommi told EON Music. “We’d like to do it, but now he’s going on tour. But yeah, I’d like to do something with him.” He also revealed that the initial idea for the album was to create tracks that could be later finished by fans: “The idea was to put all these riffs out in some form,” May said, “so that people could build their own songs from them.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com.
