Mick Jagger has reportedly entered the studio to record with Skepta. The UK rapper has gained a prominent name in the UK grime scene and scored the Mercury Prize in 2016 for his fourth album, Konnichiwa. The emcee shared news of the sessions by tweeting a photo in which he and Jagger are seen conversing in the studio. It was shared by Midnight Studios founder Shane Gonzales, who captioned the photo noting it was “one of the most inspiring days of my life.” In May the rapper spoke with NME.com, noting that he had plans to commence work on a new solo release.
