Alice Cooper has signed on to appear as the emcee for an upcoming screening of Wayne’s World in Chicago. The screening will take place in Chicago’s Millennium Park and Cooper will “provide introductory remarks about the film and the cameo performance that cemented his ‘we’re not worthy; status among a generation of music fans,” the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events said. The screening celebrates the 25th anniversary of the film and screens Tuesday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and Great Lawn in Millennium Park. Earlier this summer Cooper released his new solo effort Paranormal, about which he said: “My definition of paranormal is something that is ‘other than normal’ or ‘alongside of normal,'” says Cooper. “You could say my whole career has been that. I would look at what was normal and step left of it. That’s what gets people’s attention. They’d listen to our music and see our show and say, ‘That’s so strange…oh yeah, that’s so Alice.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
