Steve Miller Band has released a previously unheard acoustic version of “Seasons,” which will appear on their upcoming album Ultimate Hits. Steve Miller says that the recently unearthed version may even be better than the original, which appeared on his 1969 album Brave New World. “I had stopped looking around for ‘Seasons,'” Miller tells Billboard, “and we were going through mixes and cassettes and looking for thins and we found this version of it — and I thought it was better than the original one. I didn’t even know it existed. I don’t even remember doing it. I have a really good memory; I usually remember almost everything I’ve done but I was just really surprised by that version of it. I think it’s the best version, so I was happy to find it.” Ultimate Hits, which is due out September 15 in single- and double-disc deluxe versions, features three and eight unreleased tracks, respectively. The compilation, which was personally curated by Miller, is his first under his new deal with Capitol/Ume. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
