The Rolling Stones kicked off their No Filter European tour in Hamburg, Germany and delivered on their promise of “unexpected tracks and randomly selected surprises.” One such surprise track was “Dancing With Mr. D,” which the band hadn’t performed live since a European tour in support of that album in 1973. They also dusted off the track “Under My Thumb,” which the Stones had not performed live since November 2006 and “Play With Fire,” which they played for the first time since February 1990. “We’re gonna do a slow, romantic ballad, a very old one, that we haven’t done for a long, long time,” Mick Jagger said prior to “Play With Fire.” The Rolling Stones’ six-week No Filter Tour through Europe continues September 12 in Munich.
