The City of Folsom, California has opened a new section of their Johnny Cash Trail. The walking trail pays tribute to the country legend who made the city famous for his song about its legendary prison and his various live performances at that prison. A first section of the trail had previously opened and includes 2.5-miles (4-kilometer) of hiking trail. The second phase adds a biking section of the trail that crossed the prison property and connects to other trails within the area. Cash’s daughter Cindy Cash was on hand at the opening event and said: “If my dad could see all of you people here, 14 years after he died, he would say, ‘Why me? Why did everyone do this for me?’ ” Cindy said. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
