A brand new three-disc box set based on Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan, titled The Voice of Deep Purple: The Gillan Years, will be released next month. The collection is designed to illustrate the singer’s “incredibly and hugely varied career” and includes the 1990 solo album Naked Thunder, the Ian Gillan Band’s 1977 LP Scarabus and 1988’s Accidentally on Purpose, which features Deep Purple bandmate Roger Glover. Also included are five bonus tracks and an interview with Gillan. The five bonus tracks are “Smoke On The Water,” “Black Night,” “Restless,” “Child In Time” and “Woman From Tokyo,” plus an interview with Ian Gillan in Tokyo, during the Gillian Japanese tour. The Voice of Deep Purple: The Gillan Years will be released on November 17. Deep Purple released their 19th album, inFinite, in April. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
