Various pieces of touring attire worn by members of the Beatles are set to hit the auction block next month. The items will include a sweater worn by Paul McCartney while touring with Wings and a set of suit pants worn by Ringo Starr. The sweater is a blue, custom made piece that features Wings’ iconic “W” logo. It was designed by 1970’s celebrity clothing designers The Ritva Man and bidding will start at $8,000. The pants are from the Beatles 1965 tour and are labeled “Starr” on the inside. It comes as a pair with a jacket from George Harrison, which is labeled “George Beatle.” That set starts at $50k. The auction will kick off on November 11 and will also include various items of rare memorabilia including vinyls and photographs. The event will be carried out by Heritage Auctions.
