Guns N’ Roses paid tribute to late AC/DC founding member Malcolm Young with a three-song set during their performance in Sacramento, California. “This goes out to Malcolm Young. He will be sorely missed,” the band said live, later reiterating their statement on Twitter. “We’re gonna dedicate this to Mr. Malcolm Young, who will be sorely missed by none more than his brother Angus,” Axl Rose said introducing one of their tributes to Young, their cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heavens Door.” The band also performed a cover of “Whole Lotta Rosie.” Young died surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia. Young last performed live with AC/DC on tour in June 2010 at a concert in Bilbao, Spain.
