Jethro Tull has announced a 40th anniversary re-release of their 11th album Heavy Horses. The album was previously re-mastered in 2003 and will now include an expanded three-album set as well as new DVD film content. Some of that new video footage will include promo videos and TV ads for the album. The release will also feature new packaging with new liner notes, including track-by-track commentary from frontman Ian Anderson. The newly re-mastered version of Heavy Horses is set for release on February 9.
