The Johnny Cash Museum has announced plans for a fashion exhibit. The museum, located in Nashville, will open the new exhibit called “The Man in Black: The Style of Johnny Cash, Curated by Manuel” on February 26th, 2018. The show is named for Manuel Cuevas, who was the tailor for designer Nudie Cohn who created the signature ornate “Nudie Suits” worn by many of the biggest country stars in the 1960’s and 1970’s. According to Bill Miller, of Icon Entertainment Group: “Johnny Cash made wearing black a fashion statement. Through the years, he had a number of custom designers create his stage wear, but his favourite was Manuel, who dressed him through the end of his career.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com.
