The rock legend also made recent headlines when his model train set sold for $300,000 at a charity auction. Proceeds from the event went to benefit Young’s Bridge School facility, and other items included in the auction were some of his guitars and pieces of memorabilia. “Collecting all of these items has been my great joy,” he said in a statement announcing the auction. “They have provided a source of inspiration, fun and creativity throughout my life.
