While the music legend was not officially running for political office, it was recently revealed that he was among the write-in votes for the Senate seat in the Alabama special election. The state revealed the official list of over 23,000 write-in candidates, which in addition to Joel, also featured Adam Levine, NBA star Charles Barkley, Kris Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, director Tyler Perry, Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson and Project Runway’s Tim Gunn.
