An intersection in Los Angeles has been renamed to honor members of The Doors. A new sign has been added specifically to honor John Densmore at the corner of the previously named Morrison Ave. The honor came as part of an ongoing Doors appreciation week in L.A. Densmore appeared at the event and told fans it’s an especially meaningful moment, noting: “I’ve driven all the roads in this town.” He also joked that he discovered the new intersection before even being told about the honor: “I come up a few blocks. You’re kidding? Densmore Street crosses Morrison Street,” he recalled as the crowd laughed. The unveiling took place at the second annual “Day Of The Doors” event in Encino on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
