Dickey Betts will perform as part of the 2018 Peach Music Festival. Phil Lesh, Gov’t Mule, who will perform two sets, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will also appear at the festival. The Peach Fest marks the beginning of Betts’ comeback to the stage after retiring from touring back in 2015. Other performers include Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Moe., Twiddle, Tom Hamilton, and J.P. Biondo of Cabinet. Gregg Allman’s son Devon will play a set of his own that weekend with Betts’ son Duane. Allman died in May 2017 from complications of liver cancer. The Peach Music Festival takes place July 19th to 22nd at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The annual festival was founded by the Allman Brothers Band in 2012.
