Paul McCartney joined Muse’s Matt Bellamy and Dominick Howard for a performance of “Helter Skelter” during a recent intimate gig. “Just did Macca with Macca #walkinglegend,” Bellamy posted to Instagram following the performance. “Helter Skelter” appears on the Beatles 1968 The White Album. This is not the first time the three have shared a stage together, as they are also members of the supergroup Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band, which also includes vocalist Miles Kane of The Last Shadow Puppets. The band last performed together in December and also took to the stage for a friend’s birthday party in September. NME reports that McCartney is far along in the process of recording his next album, reporting that he’ll “probably” release his follow-up to 2013’s New at some point this year.
