David Byrne has connected with Oneohtrix Point Never for a new track titled “This Is That.” The track is pulled from his latest release American Utopia, which is due out on March 9. The debut came during a recent interview with BBC Radio 6 in which he also professed his love for Missy Elliott’s track “Let Me Fix My Weave.” “I’m sorry, I love this song,” he says. “She’s talking about fixing her weave. She’s not hiding the fact that she’s got a hair weave, that it’s not her hair.” Byrne also recent confirmed a string of tour dates behind the release and noted that it’s his most ambitious live show since Stop Making Sense: “The show concept is simple, much like the concept for Stop Making Sense. There, it was ‘bit by bit show what goes into making a show, and then activate it”. Here, it is ‘allow everyone to be mobile on an empty stage’ and imagine what that allows.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
