Mott the Hoople have confirmed plans to reunite this year at the Ramblin’ Man Fair in the UK. The fest is set to take place between June 30 and July 1 in Kent’s Mote Park. Band leader Ian Hunter says he’s thrilled to reconnect with his bandmates Ariel Bender and Morgan Fisher. “Both toured extensively with Mott and both were featured heavily of The Hoople album after Mick Ralphs and Verden Allen left the band,” Hunter said in a news release. “I know many people were disappointed when neither appeared on the 2009 and 2013 get-togethers. Hope this makes up for it!” He adds: “You know, you tour too much and it gets boring,” Hunter told the Boston Globe this week. “That’s why I never wanted to do it all the time. It’s not a clever idea to do it the way I do it, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody else – but it’s the way I like to do it.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
