Pete Townshend is planning to re-release his first solo album. The album, titled Who Came First, will be reissued to mark its 45th anniversary and is set to drop on April 20. Along with a remaster of the original release, the album will include “eight previously unreleased tracks, new edits, alternative versions and live performances,” according to MusicTAP. Townshend has been taking it easy in recent months. The rock icon revealed in the fall that he secretly married his longtime partner Rachel Fuller. “This seems like a good time to tell everyone who doesn’t yet know. This is a very, very happy thing for both of us. We have been together for more than twenty years, meeting at a rehearsal studio back in October 1996 where The Who were preparing for their own first revival Quadrophenia tour starting in New York. Do the sum! That’s 21 years. We first worked together (on the Lifehouse Chronicles orchestral project) but started dating a little later in December 1997,” he stated. Townshend also revealed at the time that he plans to take a year long sabbatical. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
