Roger Daltrey and LL Cool J are set to be honored by the We Are Family Foundation at the 2018 WAFF gala celebration taking place this April. The foundation is a non-profit founded by Chic’s Nile Rodgers. LL Cool J will be honored with the Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic work that includes programs that encourage literacy, music, and arts for kids and community outreach programs. “Hanging with Nile is always a good time. Truly a chic affair, where we party like we are family and dance, dance, dance for a great cause. I am honored to be recognized by Nile and the We Are Family Foundation and help support the important work they do for our youth,” LL Cool J said in a statement. Daltrey will receive the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Peacemaker Award, named in honor of poet and peacemaker Mattie J.T Stepanek, who died at age 13 in 2004. “I am delighted to receive the 2018 Mattie J.T.
