Roger Daltrey has opened up about the physical effects of a life in rock and roll and says he is “very, very, deaf.” Speaking of his upcoming tour, the rock icon says fans should also beware of the volume his band may be pumping out to accommodate his hearing issues. “The trouble with these ear things that I wear is that I am very, very deaf,” he told the crowd, as The Mirror reports. “And I advise you all – all you rock-and-roll fans – take your f**king ear plugs to the gigs. If only we had known when we were young. we are lip-reading.” He also commented on his upcoming annual Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert and noted: “I’m very happy to welcome Muse’s Matt Bellamy who will be joining me on my night for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall,” said Daltrey. “Matt will be bringing his Dr. Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band including Blur’s Graham Coxon to belt out a set of Beatles classics. It’s their first UK show and will be great fun.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
