Ace Frehley will join former KISS bandmate Gene Simmons on his upcoming tour of Australia. Simmons made the announcement at a recent Vault tour stop. “Ace has been to three of the Vault event, Los Angeles and a few others,” Simmons told the crowd at his most recent Vault event. “Ace by the way is going to be opening up for the Gene Simmons Band when we do five shows in Australia. He’s going to be using my backup band. We’re just going to have a great time. He’ll play “Ozone” and lots of other crazy stuff.” Simmons and Frehley recently ended a 16-year break, their latest reunion effort being the first Vault Experience tour date, which also featured fellow ex-bandmates Bruce Kulick and Eric Singer.
