A rock from a Yoko Ono exhibit at Toronto’s Gardiner Museum has been stolen. The Yoko Ono-inscribed piece had been part of Ono’s interactive installation ‘Yoko Ono: The Riverbed,’ bearing the words “love yourself.” Visitors to the Gardiner Museum are allowed to make contact with the art, valued at $17500. The Toronto Star quoted a police media officer as saying that “There’s a bunch of rocks on the ground and people can walk up to them and pick them up. She just picked it up and walked away with it.” Toronto police have published on Twitter a photo of a lady who is suspected to have made the high-profile robbery. She is “55-60 years of age, and standing approximately 5′ 4″,” wearing a black coat with black pants, hat and shoes, and a red and black striped scarf. Several personal items that once belonged to Beatles icon John Lennon were recently returned to his wife Ono after having been stolen last year. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
