Ringo Starr has signed a worldwide publishing deal with BMG, which includes more than 150 titles spanning nearly 50 years. The music publisher has announced that the agreement gives it exclusive worldwide rights to publish the iconic musician’s Beatles and solo catalog, as well as future compositions. The nine-time Grammy Award winning artist has released 19 studio albums since the 1970’s. “I love making music and the song writing process — and putting new music out there to play along side the old,” said Starr. Starr said in a statement that it is great to be working with BMG, “who are excited to have my entire catalogue.” Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey, received a knighthood last month from Prince William at the age of 77.
