The Rolling Stones have announced the special guests who will join them on their upcoming UK tour this summer. The band will embark on an eight show tour between May and June, which will take them to London, Southampton, Coventry, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Liam Gallagher will support the group for the first of two London Stadium dates, while Florence and the Machine join the group for the second. The Vaccines and Specials will support in Southampton and Coventry respectively, Richard Ashcroft in Manchester and Edinburgh, Elbow in Cardiff, and James Bay at London’s Twickenham Stadium. “To play with The Stones is not just to share a stage with THE rock and roll band of all time, it’s to connect with everything that came before them,” according to Elbow vocalist Guy Garvey. “It is a huge honour to be playing with one of our biggest influences,” Florence said on Twitter.
