After four years, Neil Young is set to reunite with Crazy Horse. He will reunite with the band for a pair of performances on May 1 and 2 in Fresno, California, at the Warnors Center. The last time they performed together was back in July 2014 in Iceland. Young announced the shows on his website, Neil Young’s Archive. “The horse is out again!” the post reads, captioning an image of a tour crate marked with NYCH. “Galloping across California’s great San Joaquin Valley with Fresno as the destination.” Crazy Horse’s line up features guitarist Frank “Poncho” Sampedro, bassist Billy Talbot and drummer Ralph Molina. Late bassist Rick Rosas filled in for Talbot during their last run with Young before his death in the fall of 2014. A pre-sale for the Crazy Horse shows is currently underway on his website.
