Legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi recently paid tribute to the band’s late keyboardist Geoff Nicholls during a charity fundraiser at the Opus Restaurant in Birmingham. Iommi hosted the charity lunch to raise funds for Ward 19, the dedicated cancer ward at Heartlands Hospital, where Nicholls was treated. The touring career of Sabbath came to an end on February 4, 2017 with the last date of their “The End” tour in their native Birmingham, U.K. When asked by host Gary Newborn if Black Sabbath would ever perform together again, Iommi replied: “It’s highly unlikely, but we may. You can never say never, because we’ve done it [before] … So many times. I would hope we could do some one-offs, but we’ll never tour the world again as we did, because it is really exhausting.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
