Ireland is going to vote on May 25 to possibly repeal Article 40.3.3 of the Irish Constitution which gives unborn fetuses the same right to life as the mother. Many fans signaled that they would no longer support the group and responded to U2’s statement by citing their stance as a violation of their Christian ethics.
