Neil Young has announced plans for a short solo tour this summer. The music legend revealed the details of the six-show tour on his Neil Young Archives website. The tour is set to kick off on June 28 at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis. “My old friend Joe, who drove Greene & Stone’s limo, was from this town. They managed Buffalo Springfield. It’s a soulful and beautiful city. I do look forward to seeing it again,” Young wrote on his site. The tour will conclude with a two-night stand at the Wang Theater in Boston on July 11 and 12. “One of my first solo shows as in the Wang Theater, then called the Music Hall. It’s a real beauty folks – a chapel of soul and music,” he wrote.
