Titan Comics is set to publish a graphic novel version of Yellow Submarine, a fantasy film first released in theaters 50 years ago. The Apple-approved version of the Beatles’s animated masterpiece, scheduled for release on August 28, is written and illustrated by Simpsons comic artist Bill Morrison and colored by Nathan Kane. Yellow Submarine takes the viewers on a colorful and surreal trip into the land of the music-hating Blue Meanies. The trailer for the graphic novel debuted earlier this week. It presents the story in all of its brightly colored glory, with the Fab Four appearing as impish dandies. Beatles fans will be thrilled with all the Easter eggs that have been packed into the frames. The four go on an adventure in a land unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, with “landscapes painted with Beatles sounds,” according to the trailer. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
