Byrds co-founders Chris Hillman and Roger McGuinn have announced plans for a U.S. tour this summer, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their 1968 album Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives will join them for the five date tour, which is set to kick off on July 24 and conclude on October 3. Rated as one of the 500 Greatest Albums by Rolling Stone magazine, Sweetheart of the Rodeo is widely considered to be one of the most influential country-rock albums of all time.
