Roger Waters performed the traditional Irish ballad “Danny Boy” as he kicked off a two-night stand at 3Arena in Dublin earlier this week. “We toyed with this earlier,” said Waters, hesitating. “And we’re gonna take a risk. Because we know you’re full of love.” Waters performed the classic song to open his encore, before ending the night with Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.” Backing vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius were featured on his rendition. Elsewhere in the set, Waters ended the first portion with “Another Brick In the Wall” Part 2 and Part 3, ‘Trump Is A Pig’ flashes on the screen as they performed “Pigs (Three Different Ones),” before Waters performed a pair of Floyd classics, “Us and Them” and “Eclipse,” which brought the second portion of the show to an end.
