Roger Waters took aim at President Donald Trump during his performance at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. At one point, the words “Trump is a bawbag” were projected across the length of the stage. “Bawbag” is a Scottish slang word for “scrotum” (“ballbag,” as filtered through a Scottish accent). A photo was tweeted out by a concertgoer, who noted that “the noise nearly brought the roof down.” It was also picked up by the Irish Post, which noted that “bawbag” found its way onto several signs during an anti-Trump protest in Scotland. Actor Richard Schiff (The West Wing) picked up on the term and created a “#PresidentBawbag” hashtag on Twitter. Waters has been critical of the Trump administration, particularly its decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
