The Rolling Stones have expanded their decade-long deal with Universal Music Group. The new deal will entail the band’s recorded music, catalogues and global brand management. UMG’s Bravado will handle the band’s merchandising rights and e-commerce. The deal also covers physical space to store the band’s media tools and instruments in UMG’s vaults across the globe. “We look forward to bringing our expertise and passion to bear as we put our global organization work on behalf of this iconic band who continue to create music and influence culture around the world,” said UMG chairman and CEO Sir Lucian Grainge. The band is equally thrilled about the prospect of continuing their partnership with UMG; “For many years now, we’ve had a wonderful partnership with Universal Music and look forward to an even more successful future together,” said Stones’ manager, Joyce Smith. The band recently closed the European leg of their Summer tour, dubbed the No Filter Tour, which kicked off last year on September 9, 2017, at the Stadtpark venue in Germany.
