Bob Dylan will release Live 1962 – 1966: Rare Performances From the Copyright Collections, a collection of his live performances from 1962-1966. The songs in the two-CD set are drawn from limited-run compilations Sony has released in the past six years to protect the recordings from European copyright law, which stipulates that recordings that remain unreleased for 50 years enter the public domain. The collection features a duet with Joan Baez on “When the Ship Comes In” recorded at the March on Washington, shortly before Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” Speech, a version of “One Too Many Mornings,” recorded in London for broadcast on the BBC, and the earliest known version of “Blowin’ in the Wind,” taped in 1962 at New York’s Gerde’s Folk City. Live 1962 – 1966: Rare Performances From the Copyright Collections will be released on Sony on July 27. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
