Roger Daltrey has announced that his autobiography will be published in October. The memoir, titled Thanks A Lot Mr. Kibblewhite: My Story, takes the readers through Daltrey’s early life and half-century-long career with the Who. “Thanks A Lot Mr. Kibblewhite: My Story is the captivating story of the founder and singer of iconic rock band The Who”, the band said on its Facebook page. “I’ve always resisted the urge to ‘do the memoir, but now, finally, I feel I’ve enough perspective. When you’ve spent more than half a century at the epicenter of a band like the Who, perspective can be a problem,'” Daltrey said in a statement. The UK release date is October 18, while the book will come out on October 23 in the U.S. The UK release will be a book-launching event as part of the London Literature Festival.
