Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba was arrested Friday on suspicion of DUI and for blowing through a stop sign. The incident took place in Fairbury, IL, TMZ reported. TMZ quoted law enforcement sources as saying that Ashba was pulled over for ignoring a signal to stop. As he showed signs of impairment, he was subjected to field sobriety tests. The 45-year-old musician was reportedly arrested and taken to jail after failing the test. TMZ also published a mug shot of the guitarist, whose full name is Darren Jay Ashba. Ashba posted a message on his Facebook page on Sunday: “It was so nice to chill back home for a few and reset. Thank you to everyone in my hometown of Fairbury for having me out to perform the National Anthem for ya’ll.
