Pink Floyd have shared a new animated video for the track “One Of These Days,” from their 1971 album Meddle, on the band’s YouTube channel. “One Of These Days” was included in the band’s The Early Years 1965 – 1972 box set, consisting of 27 discs. “One Of These Days,” which is the opening song from the band’s sixth album, is instrumental and only has one spoken/sung sentence by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason: “One of these days I’m going to cut you into little pieces.” The video was created by British artist and filmmaker Ian Emes, who became widely known for his creative animations and for being the original animator for Pink Floyd. “From the single Arnold Layne to the 20-minute epic Echoes, fans will see the invention of psychedelic progressive rock via an insightful collection that explores the Pink Floyd story,” the band said in a statement.
